The Event


 

Our Black Label event in Petersburg, Virginia brought our guests together for a Halloween evening to remember. They enjoyed lovely company along with the exquisite cooking of Matthew Tlusty, executive chef at Juleps on East Grace Street in Richmond.

A Rosemary, Tellicherry Peppercorn, Garlic, Olive Oil Marinated Bistro Steak with Fresh Grated Black Radish,* Horseradish, Cauliflower Puree, fried Parsnip Sticks and Dried Roma Tomatoes

Sautéed Green Bananas, with Bourbon, Quaker Butter, Sorghum, Macadamia Nut and Sweet Potato* Crepes

 

*A special thanks to VSU and their agriculture department for providing the black radish and sweet potatoes for the meal.
